Please join Willow and Mateo for an evening of Rope Bondage goodness at The Power Exchange in Las Vegas as we demonstrate two variations of the Box Tie.
First up will be a quick review and/or introduction of a basic chest harness or rope bikini top.
Second, and our primary focus for the evening, we will be looking at the Box Tie, or the Arm and Chest Harness.
There are many variations out there and I would like to break down the basic components that are common to most and how they all work safely together as one unit.
For this class I will be demonstrating the Arm and Chest Tie as presented in Midori’s book The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage. (Winner of Willow’s “Most Comfy I’ve Tried So Far” award.)
As we construct the Boxtie we will be talking about safety, application, and some possible pit-falls and adaptations you might encounter.
If time allows, and people are confident with Midori’s version of the Box Tie, I would like to take a look at a slightly more complicated version that is currently gaining popularity.
Recently Arisue Go released his book Kinbaku Mind and Techniques 1 and in it is a wonderful Box Tie that forms the basis for much of the rest of the material presented in his book.
We will take a look at how this one is constructed and the similarities and differences between both of these ties.
Suggested Experience Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Rope to Bring: 3 or 4 pieces of 6mm or 8mm diameter (3/8″ – 5/16″ American Standard). Each piece should be 25 – 30 feet in length.

If the possibility of working with a stranger, or someone of the same sex makes you uncomfortable, you might consider inviting a friend to come with you.
Once class is over attendees will have access to the Power Exchange for the evening, and I will be staying on hand to answer questions.
You need to be at least 18 years old with an I.D. to attend this class.
